Engr. Adeola David Benson, a passionate Information Communication Technology Engineer and advocate for an ICT-driven public service, has recently been awarded a Certificate in Public Leadership and Policy from the prestigious Unconventional School of Public Policy and Governance (SPPG). The program, known for its rigorous curriculum and emphasis on evidence-based policymaking, has equipped Adeola with the necessary knowledge and skills to make a lasting impact in the field of public Leadership administration.

Engr. Adeola David Benson was earlier this year graduated from Institute Of Family Engineering & Development Africa (IFED) conferred with an Associate Family Life Practitioner. Also, just got another Fellowship called Behaviourial Insights Network Transparency & Accountability (BiNTA) Fellowship, supported by the MacArthur Foundation, the Policy Innovation Centre (PIC) of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) designed the Behaviourial Insights Network Transparency & Accountability (BiNTA) Fellowship, with the aim to strengthen the capacity of anti-corruption changemakers to leverage behaviourial insights in disrupting the socially normative status of corruption in Nigeria.
Thirty individuals from various sectors who are committed to driving anti-corruption initiatives just got selected for the fellowship.
“I am deeply honoured to have completed the Certificate in Public Leadership and Policy from SPPG,” said Engr. Adeola David Benson. “It’s an achievement worth celebrating with the rigorous training and teaching. The program has deepened my understanding of effective governance and policy development with the necessary tools to address the pressing issues our society faces today. The founder of the Institution and former Minister of Education, Dr. (Mrs) Oby Ezekwesili, presented the certificate to Engr. Adeola David Benson, at the 2023 graduation of the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG), at the weekend in Abuja. In her speech, the former Minister of Education said, the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG), is the answer to bad governance in Africa. In her parting shot, she charged the graduands to maintain the tempo of excellence and good character in their future endeavours, with a warning that the SPPG would not hesitate to withdraw the certificates of those who would err.
She said Africa could become the greatest continent in the 21st century if citizens unite to change its leadership system.
The SPPG Vice Chancellor, Alero Ayida-Otobo, referred to the graduates as custodians of Africa’s future and urged them to uphold the virtues of integrity, excellence and resilience. With emphasis on CERTAIN meaning: Connectify (We are stronger together), Excellence (Result driven), Resilient, Tireless, Angry (Angry about bad governance and corruption), Integrity and Non-negotiable Values (Raising Our individual standards).
The School Class of 2023 graduated 180 students.
