FRSC Reat to Ibadan and Malo Crashes – Nigerian Television Authority – Africa’s Largest TV Network
Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed has condemned outrightly, the spate of bad driving behaviours indulged by some recalcitrant drivers across the major corridors of the nation.
This was in reaction to the fatal crashes that occured at Ajao, opposite Bovas fuel station on the Ojoo/lwo road; as well as that of Malo, both on the Lagos/Ibadan express way, 13 August, 2024.
Reports received at the national headquarters show that the Ibadan crash involved 35 people out of which 17 sustained varying degrees of injuries with 16 deaths, while the Malo crash had 16 people involved, Out of this, 12 lives were lost and 4 others got rescued with injuries
the Corps Marshal, However charged drivers and other road users to as a matter of necessity, imbibe all road safety precautions and discard any temptation to contravene established road traffic regulations.
