I take off shirt on stage as sign of freedom — DJ Electra
A disc jockey, Faith Stevens, aka DJ Electra, has said that she takes off her shirt on stage leaving only her brassier to show that she is free.
Stevens who performed at the African Creatives global market event on Victoria Island Lagos recently told our correspondent, “Stop it, I like it. Well, I am trying to let the world know that what happens in New York can happen in Africa. Because over there you are free but back here, they don’t think we can be free. So we want the world to know that we can also be this way.
Speaking on how she would react if her videos or pictures go viral, she said, “Let them go ahead, it means I am free. I love it, let them go ahead.”
Recall that Stevens had spoken up about her epileptic condition in an earlier interview with Saturday Beats. She had stated that her condition inspired her to stand out.
